Create a new Zap
Sign in to Zapier and create a new Zap. A Zap is an automation: a trigger that starts it, then one or more actions.
Set up the trigger
In the Zap editor, select the Trigger step, choose an app and an event, and connect your account. Open the Test tab and click Continue with selected record.
Add and test an action
Add an action, for example HubSpot's Create Contact for each new lead. Open its Test tab and click Test step to check it works.
Publish to turn it on
Publish the Zap when your tests pass. It only handles new data created after publishing, and test records can differ from what arrives later.
