Use cases
Prototyping a startup MVP
Learning Python or JavaScript
Building internal tools quickly
Teaching coding to beginners
Start a Website chat
Sign in to Replit and start a new chat. Choose Website from the New menu, then open the mode selector and pick Free.
Describe one clear outcome
Say what visitors must be able to do, how you will know it works, and what not to build yet, such as login or payments. Agent then plans, builds and starts the app.
Test it in Preview
Wait until Preview is running, then use the app the way a visitor would. Resize Preview to phone width to check it there too.
Fix by describing symptoms
If something breaks, tell Agent what you see instead of trying to fix the code yourself. Ask for one focused change at a time, like "Add a My RSVPs view".
