Midjourney runs in your web browser. Log in on midjourney.com with your account.
Type in the Imagine bar
Open the Create page and use the Imagine bar at the top. Describe the picture in plain words, for example "a red bicycle leaning on a blue wall, morning light".
Pick from four images
Midjourney makes a set of four images from each prompt. Everything you make is saved on the Organize page, where you can download, sort and filter it.
Choose a plan first
Making images needs a paid subscription. If you have not picked a plan yet, do that before your first prompt.
