Hugging Face
The GitHub of machine learning models and datasets
Hugging Face hosts 500K+ ML models, 100K+ datasets, and 300K+ demo spaces. It is the central hub for the open-source AI community, with Transformers, Inference Endpoints, and AutoTrain for custom models.
Editor rating is our overall editorial judgment of the tool, out of 5. It is not a test score and not a user-review average. Ratings have not been re-scored since the tool was listed here. The reasons are in Best for and Pros & cons below.
Requires some technical comfort with API keys, command line, or coding. If you're new to AI, start with a chat-based tool first.

Sign up and browse Spaces
Create an account on huggingface.co. Open the Spaces page, where people share AI apps you can try right in your browser.
Copy a Space you like
Open a Space, click the three dots at the top right and choose Duplicate this Space. Your copy is private by default and runs on the free CPU Basic hardware.
Make your own Space
Click Create new Space, name it and pick an SDK: Gradio, Docker or static HTML. An SDK is the kit the app is built with, and static Spaces are free for everyone.
If your Space falls asleep
On free hardware, a Space goes to sleep when nobody uses it for a while. To keep it running all the time you need paid hardware. Keep secret keys in Settings, never in your code.
